The OpenStack Summit will bring together the brightest technical minds to discuss the future of cloud computing, November 5-8, 2013, in Hong Kong. With OpenStack software quickly gaining adoption around the world, the Summit will feature case studies from users like Ctrip, LivePerson, MercadoLibre, PayPal, Workday, Yahoo! and more.
There are two types of passes for the OpenStack Summit: Full Access, which offers four days of keynotes, breakout sessions and workshops, and the new General Session & Expo Pass, offering two days of the general session track and expo hall. The general session track will offer simultaneous translation from English to Mandarin. Register before October 4 for a discount.

The call for speakers is now CLOSED, the deadline to submit was July 31, 2013.
Summit attendees will have the opportunity rate all of the speaking submissions to help determine which presentations are the best fit for our Summit. We will open the voting system in August with the goal of locking the agenda by mid-September 2013.

OpenStack is a global community that has seen significant interest and traction in Asia, and we're excited to host the first official Summit outside of the US in the region.
The Summit will take place at Asia World Expo, a large convention center near the airport with a connecting Marriott hotel. The Airport Express train stops within Asia World Expo, making it convenient to access from most parts of the city. Please check the VISA information page and FAQ for more information about your travel plans. We encourage you to book early!
What's new? We're expecting 4000-5000 people to attend the Summit in November, so for the first time we're offering two types of passes. The General Session & Expo pass is valid for Tuesday and Wednesday only, and will get you into the General Session running all day (including Keynotes), access to the Expo Hall, lunch and snacks. The Full Access Pass is valid Tuesday through Friday, and will get you into the General Session, Expo Hall, lunch and snacks, plus all of the breakout sessions, workshops and the Summit bag/apparel giveaways.
