SIG-K8s Working Session

In this forum session, we will have open discussion of the current efforts of SIG-K8s. Topics will include but are not limited to:

  • cloud-provider-openstack features
  • state of Cinder and Manilla CSI drivers
  • sig-cluster-lifecycle implementation and status
  • sig-cloud-provider integration
  • documentation and sig-docs collaborations

What can I expect to learn?

This session continues the joint community efforts of SIG-OpenStack/SIG-K8s. This SIG, which is unique in spanning two communities, has advocated strongly for positive collaborations. Since the inception of SIG-K8s a t the first Denver PTG, these meetings have been well attended, with representation from several projects in the OpenStack community. Within the K8s community, the efforts of this SIG have been praised as being forward thinking and on the leading edge of provider development. This session serves to continue this misson of positive collaborations across projects and communities.

Chris Hoge is a Senior Strategic Program Manager for the OpenStack Foundation. He's been an active contributor to the Interop Working Group (formerly DefCore), and helps run the trademark program for the OpenStack Foundation.
