Integration of Neutron, Nova and Designate: How to Use It and How to Configure It

This presentations will be a hands on demonstration on how to use and configure the integration between Neutron, Nova and Designate.The approach will be highly practical. Attendees will be provided with a VM with DevStack, where they will be able to follow the presentation.

  • Alternatives for the external DNS service: Designate (reference implementaion) and Infoblox
  • Publishing Nova instances data in the external DNS service
  • Publishing floating ips and ports data in the external DNS service

  • How to write a driver for other DNS services
