Zaqar Messaging for Microservices and IoT

One of the challenges that users face when developing an application using a microservices architecture is how to distribute information between each microservice. Similar challenges can be seen in IoT and sensor applications - how can you efficiently receive data from huge numbers of devices? For the purpose of our presentation we developed a demo on resolving these communication and distribution problems using Zaqar, OpenStack’s Messaging and Notification service.

What can I expect to learn?

From this presentation/demo, attendees will learn how to leverage OpenStack Zaqar to develop a cloud-based/distributed microservice architecture. The demo will include a full application that uses Zaqar for user notifications and work queueing.
