How to apply for a Visa
To find out what type of VISA you require to travel to Canada, and if you require a VISA invitation letter, please visit this webpage before filling out the form. To request a visa invitation letter, please fill out this form.
Please note that all citizens from countries other than the United States (U.S.) who do not need a visa to enter Canada will need to obtain an eTA before flying to Canada.

Visa Processing Time
As a general planning guideline, if a visa is needed, a foreign traveler should apply for his or her visa as soon as possible, preferably no later than 60 days before the travel date.
Deadline to submit Visa Invitation Letter request
Requests for invitation letters must be received before May 1, 2018. We will send your visa letter to the email you provide on this form. No hard copies will be sent. Visa invitation letters will be issued within 5 - 7 business days after the request has been submitted.
Travel Support Program
The Travel Support Program (TSP) aims to facilitate participation of key contributors to the OpenStack Summit by covering the costs for their travel and accommodations. The TSP is supported by the OpenStack Foundation and individual contributors. If you are interested in contributing to the TSP fund, you can do so on Eventbrite HERE.The total amount of the fund is to be divided among the approved key contributors. The grants will cover a combination of flights, accommodation, and access pass to the Summit. More details here.
How to Apply
All contributors to OpenStack (developers, documentation writers, organizers of user groups around the world, Ask moderators, speakers, translators, etc) are invited to submit a request. You can apply by filling out this form.
The deadline to apply for the OpenStack TSP is March 22, 2018 and approved grantees will be notified the week of April 9, 2018.
