In this brief, fast paced and informative session you'll receive an update on recent ARM powered server hardware and software ecosystem progress. One of the world's largest cloud providers recently disclosed their plans to deploy ARM based servers expressing that >50% of their data center could be powered by ARM! Last year Linaro took to the main stage in Barcelona representing the ARM partnership alongside 15 other companies as part of the OpenStack Interop challenge. Building on that foundation Linaro are now active members of the Kolla project to containerize OpenStack and have been busy working on DPDK in containerized environments too! In this session we'll hear from them about the journey, status and what's next!
