Beginning with a high level review of Cisco’s comprehensive portfolio of cloud products, services and technologies, we’ll then move to a more focused examination of Metacloud – Cisco’s managed OpenStack private cloud offering.
We’ll cover aspects of the Metacloud service, e.g. design, architecture, operations, TCO/ROI, SLA, etc., paying attention to how Metacloud integrates with and is enhanced by complimentary Cisco technologies such as Cisco Cloud Center, ACI, Nexus & ASR.
We’ll explore what is meant by the term “OpenStack for the Enterprise” through an examination of real-world challenges that Metacloud is solving for our customers as well as the business and technical drivers that organizations face with regards to private cloud adoption. We will describe how Cisco Metacloud differentiates itself in the OpenStack provider market in terms of enterprise workloads and use cases – operational model, data sovereignty, security/compliance/risk, scale, cost, performance and stability.
