IBM has a strong history of supporting open source projects over the past 14+ years across a broad set of technologies and industries. It is with great pride that IBM is also a founding and platinum member of the OpenStack Foundation. Since the time of the foundation launch, IBM has consistently contributed significant resources and investments to enable and grow the success of the OpenStack community and code.

Todd Moore, Director of Open Technologies and Partnership serves on the OpenStack Foundation Board of Directors.  Over his career, Todd and his team of open source developers have gained insight by working with some of the leading Open Source communities such as the Apache Software Foundation, Linux Foundation, eClipse, OSGi, and more recently Cloud Foundry, Docker, JQuery, and Node.js.

Brad Topol, IBM Distinguished Engineer, leads a cross-IBM team of over 100 OpenStack developers working on development initiatives like Federated Identity, Cloud Auditing, TOSCA/Heat alignment, and Cloud Foundry integration. Brad’s team is also focused on the OpenStack certification process and a major contributor to the OpenStack interoperability tools. Brad is an OpenStack core contributor to Keystone-Specs, Pycadf, and Heat-Translator and has personally contributed to multiple OpenStack projects including Keystone, Pycadf, Heat-Translator, and DevStack.
