Designing, building, operating an easy to use private cloud for NFV and support of Verizon's 5G product Landscape
Andy leads the Operations and Engineering teams for the Verizon Cloud Platform (VCP) Core, domestic and international sites. The team is accountable for design validation, implementation, security remediation, site build, operationalizing, tenant on-boarding, capacity management, and daily operations. His team of experts accomplishes this with managed practices supporting the engineering of site builds and upgrades, tier 2 and 3 (follow-the-sun) on-call support, OA&M with monitoring/performance/analytics/auto-remediation, tenant patterns and practice support, and operations tools development.
Prior to leading the Operations and Engineering teams for the Verizon Cloud Platform (VCP) Andy was a Sr. Development Manager within Wireless Network Systems where he developed, operated, and maintained Network Geographics, a mapping and spatial analytics tool for wireless coverage and site analytics. Andy has also worked as a Developer, GIS analyst, Solution Architect, Product Manager, and part time lecturer of Environmental Geomatics at Rutgers University.
Andy’s teams support all Verizon business units who are in transition from physical to virtual implementations i support of Verizon's 5G product landscape.
