Richard Boswell is a Consulting Architect in the Hybrid Cloud DevOps and Cloud Native Applications Professional Services team at VMware. He joined VMware as part of the MomentumSI acquisition and focuses on OpenStack and Container technologies. He has over 15 years of experience in infrastructure and cloud technologies, building internet-scale mission critical IT systems and cloud computing infrastructures. Prior to joining MomentumSI as a Principal Architect concentrating on open cloud technologies he was the Chief Engineer for Converged Infrastructure and Virtualization at Visa. At Visa he was responsible for their initial foray into shared infrastructure and lead the development, architecture, and implementation of multiple iterations of Visa's global internal private clouds.
