Wendy Cartee is senior director of Cloud-Native Marketing at VMware. Wendy has been in the OpenStack community since Folsom release and led OpenStack marketing at HP and PLUMgrid,where she sponsored OpenStack and its community growth. She is also active in the Linux Foundation collaborative projects and helped launch the IO Visor Project with companies such as Huawei, Cisco, Intel, Facebook, Canonical, SUSE, Netronme, Broadcom and Cavium. In her current role, Wendy continues to support many open source projects such as OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, CNCF, Cloud Foundry, Project Photon, Lightwave, Harbor, etc.
