Development of OpenStack for enterprise customers
Eamonn O'Toole works in HPE's Cloud Group on the core of the HOS product. Previously he worked as part of HP's Swift group. Before working on Cloud, Eamonn spent the majority of his career in the HPC space working on the optimisation and parallelisation of applications in a variety of technical disciplines. He spent a long number of years working on Bioinformatics applications and with some of the largest DNA sequencing operations around the world, such as The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute. He has worked with opensource software for over 15 years. He holds a PhD in theoretical polymer physics.
