Bio
Ian Y. Choi has development backgrounds with Computer Science and he is now working at Microsoft as developer product marketing manager based in Korea. He started his contributions in OpenStack Internationalization (I18n) in 2014. His interests in OpenStack evolved to many OpenStack projects including I18n and Documentation, and he has become a core reviewer on the two official project teams. He served I18n PTL during previous Ocata & Pike cycles, and has come back as current I18n PTL (Train cycle). Also, he has been serving as an organizer & coordinator at OpenStack Korea user group from January 2017. From his Microsoft ex-MVP activities (Cloud and Datacenter Management, July 2016 - Oct 2018) to various open source activities including OpenStack & Kubernetes, he is now closely interacting with many developer communities in Korea and other close countries as one of field Developer Relations team members in the region.
