 Lionel Sakiti is a technology and digital infrastructure professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services and payment technology industry.

His areas of interest include sovereign cloud infrastructure, open source technologies, cloud native engineering, digital transformation, and technology ecosystem development.

He is actively involved in initiatives to strengthen open source adoption and technical communities across Francophone Africa, with a focus on connecting experienced IT professionals, emerging engineers, and international open source ecosystems.

He is particularly interested in OpenStack, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, and the development of sustainable open infrastructure communities in Africa.
