I'm Engineering Manager for IaaS at Schwarz Digits, working on building the

STACKIT cloud. My background is cloud architecture and Kubernetes, with years

of DevOps, platform and MLOps engineering behind me at Alexander Thamm, EDEKA

DIGITAL and ALD Automotive, mostly on Azure and Kubernetes.

Before the cloud work I spent a long time as a software developer, largely in

Python and Go - building APIs, backend services and managing IT landscapes as

code. I care about infrastructure as code and cloud native done properly.

These days I work with OpenStack as part of building and operating an IaaS

platform, and I'm starting to contribute back to the projects we run in

production
