My main focus right now is to spread the awareness of open source infrastructure technologies especially Openstack, LXD, Kubernetes, KVM, OpenTelemetry and help SMEs migrate to them by providing consultation, implementation and support services.

I am an IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer with 18 years of experience across telecom, public sector, and hyperscale cloud environments (AWS), with a focus on operational excellence, adopting Open-Source technologies and infrastructure modernization. • Proven track record in designing and operating secure, scalable IT infrastructure, ranging from Unix systems and data centers to Openstack and Kubernetes clusters and sovereign clouds. • Former AWS engineering leader (Ireland) with deep expertise in cloud operations, Support, SRE, and building global teams supporting mission-critical systems. • Currently consulting for a Saudi Cloud provider on sovereign cloud design and leading a new Database-as-a-Service (DbaaS), migrating from Vmware to Openstack, and Containers/Kubernetes-as-a-Service initiatives. • Strong technical foundation in Linux, virtualization, storage, container orchestration, automation (Python/Bash), and operational tooling. • Adept at incident management, process improvement, reliability engineering, and cross-cultural collaboration.
