Working for Openstack Tacker and OpenStack NFV Edge with support to new enhancements.




Trinath Somanchi is an active opensource technologist and OpenStack Mentor working on OpenStack Neutron, Tacker, Freezer projects and Vendor specific code around OpenStack. He is currently working in OpenStack Tacker. He is an member of Openstack Community and author for NXP Networking Drivers.

He is working with NXP as Senior Lead Engineer. He is the key contributor to NXP Network Services Configuration Stack a virtual network function manager built to support Network appliances in datacenter environment. He has wide area of exposure to opensource technologies, PKI and CA management, Multi node architectures and deployments, Networking protocols, NFV Architectural freameworks, NFV Edge MANO systems.

He holds a Masters degree in Software systems from BITS, Pilani, INDIA and Bachelor degree in electronics from University of Madras, TN, INDIA. He is a active speaker at various events including and not limited to OpenStack meetup, OpenStack Summit, OPNFV Summit and NXP Technical events. He is also a Contributor for OASIS - Key Management Interoperability Protocol - KMIP 1.2
