Experienced professional in Strategic Consulting, Evangelism, Cloud Computing (IaaS, SaaS, DRaaS, Storage-a-a-S, Backup-a-a-S) Infrastructure, OpenSource, Pre-Sales, Business Development and Datacenter Consolidation. I've strong record of innovation, thought leadership and publishing white papers. Working closely with Product Management as well as Product and Solutions Engineering on the company's current and future strategies related to OpenStack. Driving Cloud competency, leading multiple Cloud initiatives and driving customer engagements for solution architectures, use case definition,PoC, Cloud strategy, solutions, and rollout. Also, providing technology consultancy to various external and internal teams and CTOs, CIOs, and other executive leadership teams. I'm Bachelor degree in Computer Science from Silicon Institute of Technology.and very passionate about Open source cloud technologies ,involved in hosting OpenStack India meet ups across India and regular speaker at various technical conferences about happenings in the Openstack world.His hobbies includes Terrace barbeque, travelling ,skating & brewing Coffee.

What is your relationship to OpenStack, and why is its success important to you? What would you say is your biggest contribution to OpenStack's success to date?

A

I'm one of the founding member /co -organizer of OpenStack India USer group and closely associated with community building activities cum evangelising for close to 5 years.I've established multidimensional relationship with OpenStack based on professional experience from engineering , community building ,marketing and consulting. I've also contributed to OpenStack documentation efforts in one of the release. Watching OpenStack grow from early days inspired the entire infrastructure ecosystem towards faster innovation,rapid release and this also fueled my growth in Cloud journey. OpenStack success has been mutually contributed by individuals & organizations at large.Thus the future growth of OpenStack will compliment each one of us towards fast evolving Cloud ecosystem.

Describe your experience with other non profits or serving as a board member. How does your experience prepare you for the role of a board member?

A

It always a overwhelming experience to be passionately associated with a cause & build up the community confidence by encouraging nuetraility , diversity and inclusiveness. I work with similar OpenSource communities and assist them in outreach activities. My deep experience from engineering to Consulting with community connects can help us win the mission and vision of the OpenStack Foundation. And I'll be happy represent India and APAC as a BoD

What do you see as the Board's role in OpenStack's success?

A

OpenStack has been success all these years and there would be rapid growth in future looking at hybrid adoption at enterprise level.Board play a significant role in streamlining the process,structure at scale , catalyst apporach towards adoption rate & promote ,inspire ,enable developer ,user community and organization win the platform objectives while alingning with OpenStack Foundations Goals and objectives.

What do you think the top priority of the Board should be over the next year?

A

Looking at the pace of innovation across platforms,cloud native adoption and other opensource efforts ,One of the biggest priority is to bridge the gap between other communities and facilitate collaboration play to create win win situation.
