Statement of Interest
Linux is a complete passion of mine, and I've been involved in the Linux community since I was 14 years old, and I've become an expert in many of their front and back-end processes. This includes mastering useful and efficient commands at an expert level and - yes, I've installed Gentoo.
Bio
I am Michael Mendy, an open source Python programmer, bash scripter, and Linux enthusiast. I have been active in the open source community since 2005, contributing code to projects like the Linux kernel and publishing various tools on GitHub that I hope are useful.
For the past 6 years, I have played a major role in DevOps. As an OpenStack Foundation member, I have helped improve continuous integration tools like Travis CI and implemented Travis CI within IBM/Red Hat's architecture to create seamless software delivery processes. My passion is leveraging my software development and DevOps expertise to help open source technologies thrive.
