A colleague and I are still trying to contribute the image encryption to OpenStack. So I have a lot of experience to work with multiple teams of the different OpenStack projects on the same topic.

The boards role is to address political issues, representation through events, marketing, etc. and check the general liveliness/health of the community.

Digital Sovereignty is highly discussed in at least Europe and as open source fulfills the demands for sovereignty this momentum should be used by the Board.
