Where will you be the 4th week of August? The answer should be Silicon Valley! Two great community events will be hosted that week: OpenStack Trove Day and OpenStack Silicon Valley. You definitely don’t want to miss either of these events!

The week kicks off with OpenStack Trove Day on Tuesday, August 25th at the Club Auto Sport in San Jose. This is a one day event where the community meets to explore and share the latest developments in the OpenStack Trove project, database as a service (DBaaS).

Many enterprises are adopting DBaaS as it is rapidly becoming the solution for provisioning and managing all of the relational and non-relational database resources within an enterprise. It delivers cloud efficiency and provides a scalable framework for managing disparate databases. With DBaaS, IT, developers and DevOps can administer a wide range of database technologies using a single, common management infrastructure.

If you are interested in learning more about DBaaS and the many benefits it can bring, join us at Trove Day where the top minds in the database and OpenStack worlds will discuss the past, present and future of Trove. Admission is free, but space is limited. Register today!

Following Trove Day is OpenStack Silicon Valley hosted by Mirantis on Wednesday, August 26th and Thursday, August 27th at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View. This is a broader OpenStack event that brings together some of the greatest minds in the infrastructure industry to discuss and debate the latest and hottest trends in open cloud.

OpenStack is emerging as the dominant private cloud operating system with more than 200 major players of the IT industry, and continuous user adoption. OpenStack provides flexibility of deploying virtual computing infrastructure, and enhancing the efficiency with maintaining cost-balance.

OpenStack Silicon Valley will feature diverse speakers including industry analysts, top contributors and business leaders in the OpenStack community and broader cloud industry. Register today!

So if you didn’t have your calendars marked already, now’s the time! Hope to see everyone out in the Valley for these two great OpenStack events!
