Bio

Hui Lei is a technology executive with interests in cloud computing, data management, and AI engineering. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, a past Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, a past Chair of the IEEE Technical Committee on Business Informatics and Systems, and an author of over 90 patents. He has been recognized with the prestigious Edward J. McCluskey Technical Achievement Award for his pioneering work on big data engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Columbia University.
