Statement of Interest

Francisco is a DevOps Engineer at KIO Networks. Computer Science Engineer from Chile, he began his career working on self-service technologies, being one of the pioneers on integration of touch screen devices with Open Operating Systems. Later, in Mexico he developed his career in the Hosting market on companies like where he took charge of processes automation for minimizing human intervention on registration systems and servers as well as high availability architectures. Once at KIO Networks as part of the Research & Development department he worked on positioning OpenStack inside the company, specializing on projects like Keystone, Nova and Heat, and OpenStack integration with third party vendors, as well as Hadoop over OpenStack integration, releasing in 2012 the first Public Cloud in Latin America based in OpenStack. In 2014 all these efforts came to the creation of Koolfit, a modular OpenStack Private cloud with an unique offering.
