Kiran has been nominated enough times to appear on the election ballot. You can read the answers Kiran gave to the election questions below.
Kiran has been working on OpenStack activities since close to its inception. He started his journey by documenting the usage of OpenStack and has contributed for the documentation project till Havana release.
He wish to see OpenStack being used as the Cloud OS and get the functionality of each needed component as a service. That way OpenStack stands as a platform that will be used for building the needed resources to provide Infrastructure-as-a-Service and used towards geting Anything-as-a-Service.
Kiran has been active in various Linux forums and has handled the documentation and support related tasks on Ubuntu forums. This has showed the clear path that needs to be followed towards continous collaboration.
OpenStack comprises of several core & sub-core projects so there should be good community collaboration and indulgence in each project which can be acheived properly through the goverance by the Board.
In due course of time the Board has built up a good governance model that has clubbed many people in their technical thoughts and has extensively colloborated to make this complete ecosystem as free and OpenSource. This is something very much needed and has to be done in getting the concepts around the OpenStack ecosystem.
