Red Hat: Mobile Edge Computing in Support of IoT
Telcos are increasingly looking to take advantage of mobile edge computing to support their IoT initiatives. Whether this is for smart metering, security, video delivery or mobile usage analytics, these are new services that can create new revenue opportunities beyond providing simple bandwidth. Developing software for such systems is very different from today's cloud computing methodologies. This talk will present the issues involved and how development processes must change in order to make these types of deployments successful.
