rkt is an App Container runtime for Linux. This workshop will teach you how to download, start, build, and sign your own application using rkt and use it with Kubernetes. It shows what a pod is, why it is useful and how you can create your own. You will learn how to configure rkt and how your application can be started using different flavors like fly, kvm, and CoreOS Linux, and finally how to use rkt together with Kubernetes.
