Are you interested in running a hackathon to train your community to build cloud applications? If so, this working group session by the #CloudAppHack-WG is your first port-of-call. Hackathons are extremely involved events requiring significant support, sponsorship and supervision. This working group session will provide you with the following resources to get you started in planning and running a successful 'cloud app hack':
- Application process via the #CloudAppHack-WG for scheduling in your hackathon as per coordination with the rest of the world.
- Sponsorship guidance and introduction to obtain the funding, prizes and sponsorship required to run a successful hackathon.
- Official oversight to assure the competition is fair and observes the code of conduct, esp re judging process.
- Pre-training for participants to prepare for the tools required to build cloud applications.
- Guidance and support by the Foundation for good practice in running a cloud application hackathon.
