NetApp: User Stories: How SAP and BBVA run OpenStack at Enterprise Scale

Part 1:

Learn how SAP builds an enterprise Cloud using OpenStack Manila. We'll discuss ERP requirements, guidelines to blueprint an infrastructure and also how to extend Manila to allow an automated Network configuration using Hierarchical Port Binding. This setup could be easily used as blueprint running SAP applications in OpenStack along with OpenStack Kolla and Kubernetes. We will cover in-depth how full network automation works in Manila and also how complex network topologies can be supported.

Part 2:

Building a small PoC Environment can be a challenge for traditional IT teams, but when you have to do a full production deployment to support your platform and development teams, new unexpected challenges come your way.  BBVA like many other big organizations is on a journey to transform its IT; but being a Bank it has its special hurdles as the stakes are way high.
