A Scalable Neutron ML2 Mechanism Driver for the VPP Platform
Cisco has open sourced the Vector packet processing (VPP) technology, which provides a high performing production quality virtual switch platform on commodity hardware. I have been contributing code to building a ML2 mechanism driver for the VPP platform. In this presentation, I will provide an overview of the software design, how it works and performs modular L2 port binding leveraging etcd.
