An Edge Framework Helping Object Recognition

The presentation introduces an infrastructure framework of Akraino with hardware accelerators support AI applications running on edge, including accelerator management in Kubernetes and OpenStack, Hardware Platform Awareness (HPA) in ONAP, device management in EdgeX, etc., and then illustrate how it works by user scenarios of recognition, for example, facial recognition for criminal pursuit or lost children seeking parents, or conveyor belt recognition in intelligent steel plants.
