Danny Zhou is the Sr. SDN/NFV Software Architect from Intel Network Platform Group. He is a 15 year Intel veteran focusing on networking software R&D, optimization and virtualization on Intel processors spanning from Intel IXP Network Processor and Xeon Processors. Currently, he is leading architecture and engineering efforts to build NFV/SDN reference solutions by integrating various Intel hardware and open source software ingredients (e.g. DPDK, OpenvSwitch, FD.io, OpenDaylight and Open-O) for Telco and Datacenter markets. Danny is the PTL of NSH_SFC FD.io sub-project and contributors of various network relevant open source projects by Linux Foundation. Danny has 9 approved US patents, and published or presented >11 papers and presentations on industry technical events such as IETF, MWC, OpenDaylight and OPNFV Summit.
