Bob Ghaffari is currently director within Intel’s Data Center / Network Platforms Group responsible for driving network solutions for Enterprise and Cloud. He works closely with leading Enterprise-Cloud customers as well as with industry leading partners to deliver agile, scalable and cost effective solutions to enable best in class TCO with transformational capabilities to enable the Software Defined Infrastructure (SDI) in an era where Software Defined Data Center (SDDC), Software Defined Networks (SDN), Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), and virtual / software based appliances are now starting to be a focus for CIOs and IT organizations. Prior to this position, Bob has spent time in a variety of business development and marketing positions. Bob has an EECS degree from UC Berkeley and a MBA from Santa Clara University.
