Giuseppe Tricomi
Senior developer at the University of Messina

Giuseppe Tricomi received his Master Degree in "Engineering and computer science" from Faculty of Engineering at the University of Messina (Italy) in 2016, with the thesis titled " Algorithms to manage Federated Clouds based on YAML Manifest for OVN Technologies" and, previously, he received his Bechealor Degree in "Computer Engineering" from the same Faculty  with the thesis titled "Definition of a reference architecture for Cloud Computing".

Since October 2012 he has been employed in an EU-funded regional project (POR) for the design and implementation of Java modules for integration of the CLEVER (CLoud-Enabled Virtual EnviRonment) middleware in S.I.MON.E (System Integration for the MONitoring of Electricity generation), where key topics included sensors and Big Data. 

Since October 2013 he has been employed in EU-funded national project (PON) for the design and implementation of Java Modules for integration of CLEVER in SIGMA (System Integration for the manaGement of sensors for Multirisk and Advanced analysis), where key topics included sensors, federation, Big Data and multi-risk.

Currently he is a PhD student and at the same time he is working in the EU H2020 BEACON Project with sysadmin and development duties.
