Realization of Nirvana Stack by Integrating OpenDaylight and FD.io.

Opendaylight is an industry recognized SDN controller and it provides various infrastructure and applications needed for Cloud admins.  Netvirt module in OpenDaylight provides rich set of feature for Network Virtualization, Overlay, L2 and L3 services needed for Openstack Cloud admins in OpenFlow based OVS data plane environments. There is an ongoing activity in OpenDaylight community to enhance Netvirt module to support Netconf based FD.io/VPP (Vector Packet Processing) data plane devices in addition to OVS devices. This talk provides an overview of FD.IO VPP and OpenDaylight NetVirt architecture and deep dives in to various aspects of integration of both these architectures.
