OpenStack is very HOT in China right now! Pretty much all the major IT vendors and telcos in China are part of the OpenStack community: China Mobile, China Telecom, Huawei, Inspur, 99Cloud, EasyStack, UnitedStack, and ZTE are currently Gold members of OpenStack, and many more Chinese companies are corporate sponsors of OpenStack. Last year, we had the FIRST OpenStack Day China event which drew 3000+ registrants and 2400+ attendees. OpenStack has been a focal point for many customers, developers, users, reporters, universities, government agencies, and Chinese social media discussions. In this session, we will have a brief overview of the current OpenStack momentum in China, followed by an exciting panel with 4 OpenStack Board Directors who are involved in the China market to discuss why and how OpenStack got so hot in China. We will also discuss the opportunities and challenges of what OpenStack developers and users are experiencing. The session will be conducted in English.
