OpenStack: Pushing to 5000 Nodes and Beyond

Mirantis and Intel partnership in area of performance and scalability researches started almost two years ago, and since that time we went a long way from running OpenStack on 200 nodes to most recent 1000 nodes researches on daily basis. Achieving cloud maturity on all layers of this complex system made us look on every aspect and every component, and lead to creation of OpenStack Performance Team, publishing lots of researches and gaining community around this effort.

Join this presentation to go through our journey - starting from our first activities to latest researches answering the question: how can we push vanilla OpenStack to 5000 nodes and beyond?

What can I expect to learn?
  • Methodology of scale and performance testing
  • Results of Mirantis / Intel investigation activities
  • Most recent experiments and latest recommendations
