Make Both OpenStack and Kubernetes a Fail-Safe: a.k.a OpenStack on Kubernetes

Several companies have been working on how to build an OpenStack on the Kubernetes at the PoC level, and the way is known. However, building a product level OpenStack on top of Kubernetes requires a lot of consideration. For example, database redundancy, message queue clustering and reliable storage is required. Most of all, you can install it, but it does not tell you exactly what features of Kubernetes were used, how the container image was built, and what the argument values are for execution.

See how to build manually a high availability OpenStack and Kubernetes based on kubelet in detail, and provide guidelines on how to apply it to future in Kolla-Kubernetes(Helm).

Learn about:

  - HA for kubernetes controllers
  - HA for OpenStack in production on Kubernetes
  - Kubernetes features used to build OpenStack

What can I expect to learn?

Attendees will learn 3 things

  - HA for kubernetes controllers
