Yesterday, we have been talking about fitting, developing and designing OpenStack as the preferred product for NFVi use case. This involves shaping certain features like SR-IOV, DPDK, CPU pinning, etc to meet telco use cases. Today we have reached into the prime stage of deploying, testing and using openstack in Telco environments. At this stage troubleshooting has a vital role to play.
Working in support organization, troubleshooting NFV issues was one of our primary task. We have come across many issues during and after OpenStack deployment for NFVi, onboarding VNFs, UAT testing, etc which ranges from configuration issues, bugs, non-working of features, booting failure or kernel panic on VNFs, performance issues, etc.
Throughout this session we will explain how to troubleshoot NFV issues using real life examples, share tips and tricks for efficient troubleshooting and importance of collaboration with multiple stakeholders and how to efficiently handle it.
Throughout this session we will explain how to troubleshoot NFV issues using real life examples, share tips and tricks for efficient troubleshooting and importance of collaboration with multiple stakeholders and how to efficiently handle it. Attendees will learn troubleshooting techniques for an NFVi deployed using OpenStack with multiple VNFs from different vendors by understanding how to approach different problems at different layer ranging from configuraiton issues, performance, VNF onboarding, bugs, etc.
