Swamy Vasudevan is the CTO and Vice President for Ericsson North America’s Cloud, SDN and NFV business and has responsibility for Strategy, Solution Architecture & Offer Development for this line of business.  Areas of focus include IT-Network Convergence, Cloud, SDN and NFV.

He has 20+ years of business and technical experience selling, architecting, developing, delivering, and managing complex software and services solutions in wireless, wireline, cable and utility/smart grid networks. He has held various roles in systems engineering, solution architecture, consulting, sales & marketing, strategy, product innovation and management.

Swamy is an industry thought leader in the area of network communications and operations and has spoken at numerous industry events such as Cloud Connect, TM Forum Management World, CTIA Wireless, Distributech, UTC, ESRI UC and others on topics such as Cloud Management, Smart Grid Communications,  and GIS in communications network. 

He was very instrumental in securing first key Cloud Management and utility deals in the US. He was awarded with ‘Hero of NextGen’ for extraordinary commitment to customer satisfaction. He was nominated for CEO Award for innovative product design.

Swamy holds a Bachelor of Engineering in computer science from PSG college of Technology and Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University.
