Ruchi Bhargava recently join Comcast Corporation as Vice President in the Technology & Product Group responsible for Network & Cloud Infrastructure services. Ruchi comes to Comcast from Intel where she served in many roles over her 25 years, most recently serving as Director for Cloud Network and Storage in their Open Source Technology Center, leading efforts cross-geo in OpenStack, OpenDayLight, and OPNFV. Her strong IT background guides her in what is crucial for success from an enterprise user perspective. Ruchi firmly believes in the value of diversity and is involved with multiple OpenStack diversity initiatives, including the “Command Presence” workshop she runs at summits. Ruchi is always up to a challenge, she sponsored a high school OpenStack internship program at Intel that resulted in some the youngest contributors ever (age 14) with multiple patches. Ruchi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Delhi University, India.
