TryStack: The Free OpenStack Sandbox for Earth

The OpenStack Foundation and several generous corporate sponsors (including Red Hat, Dell, Cisco, and NetApp) setup and operate TryStack.org - a free way to try out and learn more about OpenStack and it's capabilities in a large, public sandbox.

TryStack is a production OpenStack implementation and the maintainers have learned a great deal about deployments, maintenance, automation, monitoring, upgrades and gotchas.

What can I expect to learn?

In this talk, several members of the TryStack team will:·

  • Talk about the history of TryStack and future roadmap

  • Give insight into deployment architecture and underlying components·

  • Illustrate the various capabilities of TryStack

  • Explain how TryStack is evolving with OpenStack

  • Upstream Manila development happening on Trystack
