This session describes how easy it is to setup & operate a cloud using turnkey OpenStack based appliance starting from deployment, expansion, H/W replacement & monitoring. Increasingly organizations are turning to OpenStack to build their IT infrastructure. However, when trying to setup their own internal cloud using OpenStack, they face enormous challenges due to lack of skills, appropriate investments & underestimation of the complexity involved. This session talks about how customers can take advantage of a turnkey approach to deploying a cloud quickly. We will also describe how to expand, monitor & upgrade the cloud. Attendees will also get a glimpse of the kind of tradeoffs one has to make in developing a turnkey cloud.
