Kris is software engineer in IBM's cognitive systems division with extensive experience in advanced IO enablement.  Recent focus has included OpenStack integration with software defined networking and storage on Power systems.

She is passionate about diversity and methods for attracting talent from a variety of backgrounds.  She has experience as a mentor for middle school girls in the Technovation Competition.
