Now that users are integrating dozens of open source tools into a modern stack that reaches well beyond the scope of OpenStack, we’re re-organizing the event to focus on specific problem domains like container infrastructure, edge computing and CI/CD and we are focusing on the hard work of integrating all of these tools developed in disparate communities. This is the essential work of 2018 and beyond, to ensure that open infrastructure is truly a viable path for operators.

Mark McLoughlin
Red Hat, Consulting Software Engineer

Mark McLoughlin has spent over 15 years contributing to and leading open source projects such as GNOME, Fedora, KVM, qemu, libvirt, oVirt, and OpenStack.

Mark is Senior Director of Engineering for OpenStack at Red Hat, and has lead Red Hat’s OpenStack efforts since 2011. As an OpenStack contributor, he created the Oslo project, contributed heavily to Nova, and was elected both to the OpenStack Technical Committee and the OpenStack Foundation Board of Directors.
