The Importance of Data Management for NFV - Use Cases that Need Persistent Storage

Increasing requirements for how NFV platforms store, manage, protect, and monetize network data require a data fabric at the NFVi storage layer. Furthermore, low-latency data services will require edge-computing which will drive needs for automation for efficiently storing persistent data at the edge. Adapting ephemeral data mechanisms to automated, aggregated persistent data is driven by diverse use cases and NFV tenant specifications. This session will address several such use-cases in healthcare, automotive telmematics, and retail.
