Speaker Details

John Haan is a Team Leader at kt cloud, leading cloud infrastructure initiatives with a focus on OpenStack, Kubernetes, and Ceph.

He has a strong background in designing and operating cloud-native platforms and has previously held key engineering roles at Smilegate, SK Telecom, Netmarble, and Samsung SDS.

His recent work includes building OpenStack on Kubernetes environments with Kube-OVN-based unified networking, implementing LLM + MCP-based operational automation, and improving CI/CD pipelines and observability using tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Loki.

Seungjin is also an active speaker in the open-source cloud community, contributing to events such as Kubernetes Community Days Seoul (KCD Seoul) and KT Cloud Summit.
