Nils Magnus is a Senior Cloud Architect and Agile Product Owner at T-Systems International GmbH, where he leads a team of 15 building and evolving the Open Telekom Cloud, a sovereign, enterprise-grade public cloud platform based on OpenStack. With over two decades of experience in IT security, cloud infrastructure, and open source, he is deeply familiar with the architecture and services of OpenStack and similar frameworks.

Closing the circle to the early AI research he did at University of Kaiserslautern and DFKI back in the 1990ies, Nils has recently focused on helping clients explore the practical use of AI, including prompt engineering and hands-on enablement. He is an active contributor to the open-source community as a long-time organizer and contributor for LinuxTag, the German Unix Users Group, and OpenInfra Foundation. He also serves as Telekom’s liaison to this organization. Nils lives in Berlin, Germany.
