Why you should adopt open infrastructure today

Using open source solutions for providing infrastructure brings a lot of benefits. In our race to use more compute power, adopt new technologies and adapt to changing environments, it is easy to forget those benefits and fall for the marketing and direct appeal of proprietary infrastructure. In this talk, Thierry Carrez, VP of Engineering at the OSF, takes a step back and lists all the reasons why you should adopt open infrastructure today, from traditional open source benefits to the growing role of the infrastructure provider within organizations, up to building a more sustainable ecosystem.
