Deletion of project and project resources

As an operator today you have no unified way to delete all resources of a project. Today all operators basically writes their own tools to manage this, and the end result is often that we end up with a lot of orphans in our clouds. In a public cloud environment a lot of projects are being created and deleted. We feel that being able to delete all resources to a project is hygiene factor and an operation that should exist in all openstack projects and of easy access for operators and end users.

Some tools exists that target this, like ospurge - does it work? Does it meet the requirements? What is the best solution for this problem? How should we treet shared resources?

A lot of outstanding questions exists here. Since all operators spend time on creating there own solutions, lets bring that effort into a workable solution that make OpenStack as a product better. We encourage PTLs, cores and operators of both public and private clouds to join this session and discussion.
