Helm is the Kubernetes manager responsible for installing and managing Kubernetes applications. Helm Charts can describe complex apps, provide repeatable application installation, and serve as a single point of authority for your applications. Helm charts have recently become the de-facto standard to deploy applications on top of a Kubernetes cluster.
Using Cloudify and TOSCA you can deploy workloads to multiple clouds as well as multiple Kubernetes clusters. TOSCA defines the workload topology for what is deployed where. It serves several hybrid use-cases like cloud bursting, private to public when there is a need for additional resources, or when you would like to migrate workloads from one cloud to the other, and more.
In this talk, I will explain how to deploy a complex application on OpenStack with Kubernetes, Helm, and Cloudify.
Attendees will learn how to deploy Kubernetes and ONAP on OpenStack with Cloudify and Helm as well as other clouds simultaneously.
